"I dont like writing these types of reviews but Due Agnelli was a disappointment. After an absence of several years, I returned to the Due Agnelli the other night, in part because it is within walking distance of my elderly mother's house. I should have stated home, it would have been a much cheaper and satisfying meal! We were a group of 7 people, and even allowing for a big party and busy night, service was inattentive and slow. Food wasn't much better: the pizza was so thin that any topping rendered it a soggy mess, the San Pietro fish for two, despite a charming story about the origins of the name from the waiter, was dry and devoid of flavor, and although it was for two people the portions came within 5 minutes of each other so we were unable to eat together, Anot that wouldnt have improved the dish. The only bright spots were the octopus with potatoes (mostly potatoes but good flavor), a swordfish, which was tender, juicy and full of flavor, and the wine selection, a Gewurtztraminer which was as light and fruity as advertised. Unfortunately, not something the restaurant could take credit for. And the bill at the end? €150, for two appetizers, two mains and four pizzas, that were mostly left of the plate. Not a bargain any day."
