"First time we have tried Massimo's and we will be back again. Good choice of toppings and excellent service. We have had pizza's in Italy and Massimo's is equal to any there. Well and truly worth trying."

"What a fabulous find! I had not tried fresh water marron before and ordered the tasting plate ...I should of just ordered a kilo of the stuff, a beautiful delicate flavour that went perfectly with their bubbly.Lawn area for kids to play with a few bits of outdoor sporting equipment to keep them happy. Would like to see a greater selection for the kids menu - even a toasted ham and cheese sandwich would be a good option.Service was very warm and friendly and the wines were really good. A nice venue and the marron was devine - thank you."

The Tapas was divine, the ambiance was cosy, friendly and comfortable and the wine was as you would expect for such a prolific wine region, exceptional!!! "Disappointing. Advertised as opening til 10pm but when we arrived on Tuesday at 8.45pm they had stopped serving food. We said we would try again Wednesday which we did, and arrived at 7.30 only to find it was booked out for a function! Not wanting to turn us away a second time, they were very apologetic and kindly fitted us in but then after we ordered, told us it would be a half hour plus wait. We ordered the marron, prawns and oysters with gourmet salad and the lamb and dam. Oysters were excellent, very fresh. Prawns and marron cooked well, but lacked any seasoning and were cooked plain. Nothing gourmet about the salad which appeared to be salad out of a bag and some remnants of quinoa which I only realised was there when I had finished and was wondering what the little blobs on the plate were. Lamb was very overcooked. $44+ per dish was over priced given the lack of attention to detail. Wine was superb, especially the Estate Riesling. Service was friendly but amateur. The wait staff were too busy tucking in to a cheesecake to serve us. Expected a lot more from a fine dining restaurant."

"Beautiful venue food was absolutely gorgeous, Claire our waitress was friendly and helpful. Only downside was when the chef got quite rude when we asked about paying seperatley. Clair had it all worked put but the chef came out of the kitchen had a go at her and then us. He might of had a bad day but it did put a dampner on our whole experience. Would have received 5 stars if it hadnt been fpr this"
