"Why do restaurant staff, who've provided a perfectly fine meal, then conscientiously ignore you when you want to pay the bill and leave? This happened at La Grange recently. We'd eaten there in 2010 and again in 2012 and enjoyed both the relaxed family atmosphere and the food, which was refreshingly different to that served by many restaurants along the canal. Ignoring us at the end of our recent meal took the edge off a positive dining experience"

"Honestly! Pushing the door of this little restaurant in Balaruc the baths was a real surprise. The 2 generations of cooks so complementary and smiling do not remove anything from the quality of well-balanced dishes. I chose the dish of the day: rusty lasagna and seiche! Really surprised at the best way. A well presented dish with a nice quantity. The seiche had a perfect cooking, a real delight. I was gonna forget the dessert a brown cream tiramisu! Just say I'd have taken a second so good. A real nice discovery"
