"Remember only our stay in angel inn as a real highlight of our pennine way walk. it was so good that we stayed an extra night while storm aileen passed. every meal was absolutely delicious, the pub was packed with visitors and locals, the room was clean. it was however the warm greeting we received from joyce, that was the actual standout. we came wet, muddy and tired, but joyce could no longer have been inviting and continue to take care of us throughout the stay. thanks to all those who lead such a fabulous pub."
