"Staying at Treetops were given a voucher. Tuesday being another wet windy day so decided pizza was definitely required read all the great reviews so arrived for lunch with high expectations of quality pizza. They exceeded those expectations with friendly fast helpful service AND then the pizzas arrived!!!! ........ gastronomic heaven in a pan !!! Thanks guys for being wonderful hosts with sense of humour, quality service, delectable pizza perfect coffee. We will be back!"

"During our recent holiday on the Sunshine Coast we spent a day in Montville with friends and as we had been to The Edge Restaurant before we thought it would be a good place for lunch. We hadn't made a booking so were happy to take a table that was a little way from the edge. We were shown to our table and given menus. We watched other people arrive who were given water too and someone going back to take their order. After sitting for at least 1/2 hour with no water and just our menus we finally were approached by a less than friendly waitress. She took our orders and we asked for water but after 10 minutes we could see she wasn't coming back so we went and helped ourselves to the water bottles and glasses. I ordered the Pumpkin and Haloumi Salad with no extras. When it arrived it had chicken on it. The waiter immediately knew it was incorrect and took it away. When he came back it was the same plate with the chicken pieces removed. I ate the salad, which was quite nice but I a couple of small pieces of chicken, one of which I consumed. As I do not eat chicken I was not happy as I had not ordered this. My dining companions were less than happy with the service and not too impressed with their meals."

"A vegan sign caught our eye when we went through the city. Was happy to find a budget friendly option, Montville is beautiful, but as it is so touristic, the restaurants are usually expensive. You have a huge custodian of a menu, so it seems that everything cannot be so fresh. The glass cabinets inside are full of different pastries and candy. Some of the vegan options are ready in the closet and they heat it up. I had a vegan lasagna and my partner had a curry cake. He was not a big fan of the pastry, it was a gluten-free cake and the pastry was soft, but the filling was nice. The lasagna was fine, the layer on the ground was chewing, so I left them. Chips and salad were really good."
The restaurant also offers the possibility to sit outside and eat and drink in nice weather.
