"Food was nice but incredible slow and ignorant service. Waited 30+ ´mins for starters to arrive. Avoid wine by the glass as they pour very little (10-12 cl). Somehow you get the feeling you’re in a tourist trap despite the good food."

"Heritage fish chips was closed so I tried Golden. VERY BAD. Halibut fries was greasy and grease tastes like dumplings. Fish was small and tasted like cardboard....still burping it up. Greasy fries tasted like cardboard, grade and dumplings. They don't even print their name on the box in case they find your body later....lol. Place is dirty too. Never again!"

"My hubby and I wanted to have a nice romantic dinner (date night) this past Monday and have driven past Splice Grill before and it looked fancy so we thought why not!... biggest mistake. We should have known as soon as we walked in. The place was basically empty, just 1 single lady and 2 kids. I walked up to a gentleman who I thought was the waiter and asked if we could be seated outside, to which he replied "yeah, go seat yourselves" OK! no problem, he followed us outside. Im a huge fan of Cesar's but I love pickles or pickle juice in my Cesar. He sat us down and came back 10 minutes later for our drink order... its not busy, why did it take 10 minutes to get our drink order???? so I ordered a spicy Cesar, I asked to have pickles or pickle juice added to the Cesar to which the waiter simply replied "no" WTF!!! are you kidding me? I started laughing as I thought he was joking but nope! I wasn't allowed to add pickles to my drink!! you have pickles, you have pickle juice so whats the problem. So he leaves, another 10 minutes and now we get our drinks and are ready to order but want to ask a few questions about the appetizers as this is our first time here.... Heaven forbid we ask any questions, he was extremely rude and couldn't be bothered or pretended to not understand what we were saying and just simply nodded yes or not but never answered our question. We received our Cesar salads as a starter but no cutlery, we waited 10 minutes with still no one around, so we went in and got ourselves forks so we could at least eat our salad. The food took about another 45 minutes to get to our table only to be cold and really disgusting which i don't understand as we only ordered 4 appetizers. He came by once after we were done eating to ask if we wanted another drink? the whole experience was disappointing $100 meal and it was not even close to being worth it as we grabbed takeout on our way home :( I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone especially if you want to have a date night!Chantel Beadle"
