"Had a great lunch after kayaking. Fried squid were great, fries were great and daughter loved her chicken tenders. Took it to go and sat outside overlooking the water, location can't be beat. . Also good selection of beers. Very clean, excellent COVID19 precautions. Staff very friendly and attentive. Will definitely return."

"I am sorry to read that other Sea Harvest guests did not have a very good experience. I have eaten at the Moss Landing restaurant so many times I lost count. I never had any bad experiences there, even though a couple of times there were some minor annoyances...nothing serious. Like, one corner table had a window cranked open and it was too cold and breezy, but we just shut it and were fine. Another time I think we were missing some cutlery at the table, but all we did was ask and all was fine. One time we came in just as they were closing up for the night, but we must have gotten lucky, because we were seated and served anyway. I thought that was unusually generous. I am not sure whose decision that was...perhaps an owner's. I get kind of tired of breaded and fried seafood, so I rarely order the fry baskets, unless I am in the mood for oysters. (I wish restaurants would consider serving oysters in more creative ways than just breading and frying. I also do not care for the little bay scallops in the fry baskets, but Sea Harvest serves a very good grilled scallop kabob. My favorite seafood dish so far is the halibut served with a sauce that has capers and I think browned butter. The side-dish veggies are a nice change from the usual half-raw steamed broccoli, zucchini and carrots that other places rely upon....but I still wish the green beans and baby (real not peeled cores carrots were a bit more tender. If you eat outside or stroll around the deck facing the water, beware of seagulls! There are great views (most of the time of sea animals. Off to the left, there is a long boat dock and the last time I was there (2 days ago on April 16 there were hundreds of sea lions basking on every inch of it. You can also see otters almost every time. There isn't a lot to choose from in the restaurant's fish market section but what is there looks to be very fresh. Don't expect to get any real bargains or discounts, though. Prices look to be about the usual market prices you'd see elsewhere. The tables are kinda small and the acoustics can make for some loud conversations when it's crowded, but I still enjoy my visits. The restrooms are always spotless. I like to drink cola (I think they serve Pepsi and I wish they would have a soda dispenser or at least offer refills. When you order a soda, you get a glass of ice and a canned beverage. That's a change I wish they would make. I like the way Chili's makes sure your Cokes or lemonade, iced tea, etc., are always full and fresh. Prices for meals at the Sea Harvest are fair. I like the way you can glance over and see the chefs preparing the orders. Never had a rude waitress or hostess, but I do not know how long it's been since the customer who last posted a review experienced this problem. Maybe it's all better now, or I have just been lucky."

"You can see sea otters at the pier. And of course, the food was so good! I ate ceviche, cram chowder, seafood pasta, and combo chips. Everything was delicious. However, the pasta was slightly chili-spicy; if you are not good at hot it might be better to avoid it."
