"I travel to Colombia 3 or 4 times a year. When I come, I look forward to eating at Pecai. I flew on Monday. They are closed on Mondays Tuesday I walk down to have dinner. All the tables were lined up and lights hanging everywhere. I was met by one of the waiters who recognized me from earlier trips. He said he was sorry but they were closed for a private party. I asked him if they were open the next night Wednesday oh yes, he said......No Problem I said I would come back. Wednesday I walk back down there to be greeted by the same waiter with the same story.....In my own broken Spanish I asked him why he didn't inform me of this the night before? He had no answer. I said OK and left. This is one of the best places in Rio Negro to eat. You would think they would keep part of the restaurant for their loyal patrons and a separate section or the other half of the restaurant for the parties and dinners!!! Again I am reassured that they will be open the next night...………..I walk down to the restaurant for the third night and again they are closed for a private party......You would think they would at least post a sign saying this.....Nope they just turn people away as they showed up...….The food is the best, but the customer service is terrible...….I really do like this place but I do not expect them to stay open if they treat their patrons like they did me."
