"This gorgeous local restaurant in the small town of Radicofani has garden seating in the shade of huge trees with an outlook across the mountain. The service was excellent and the owner’s knowledge of gluten free was very good. An unusual dish of tempura pecorino wrapped in prosciutto was excellent (not gluten free) and the simple buffalo mozzarella and tomato was very good and better than most. The slow cooked beef with carrots was tender and tasty. The mixed grill was a huge portion; sadly the beef was a little over cooked, but otherwise another good dish. This restaurant is a wonderful respite from the heat of the day. And the town of Radicofani is more beautiful (and much quieter) than many of the more popular tourist stops. The view from the Fort is also worth the climb."

"What to say. your aglione is spectacular, super recommended! we had lunch here in the open air tables under the pleasant sun of October, along the street francigena. friendly staff. Central location and the terrace of the public garden nearby has a spatial view. a place and a place of return (maybe I lay some vinello in the area)"

"The plates are very big and there are too many things on the menu. Maybe because Pelgrims get a discount it is really cheap but the quality of the food is cheap also. Would not go back there. My advise “Less is more”."

"We arrived in this place to visit the fortress of radicofani. This fortress is built on an inactive volcano in a strategic point, with a view from the 360° tower. in a day of earthly sky (unfortunately it was not our case) you see the bolsena lake, the lake of trasimeno, the mountains above the vine etc. we ate, truffle dumplings, truffle tips, gnocchi cacio/pepepepe, ravioli with ragù. all superb! sweet: 2 kinds of homemade desserts. Tiramisù, simply sublime, never eaten until now one like this! It's really nice. excellent value for money. a beautiful location, similar to a shelter, made of wood both inside and outside. We didn't eat grilled meat, but who was near us was excited. (they're fucking grilled)"
