"This was a brilliant find! We loved the food, atmosphere and the food. And the food!!! Great selection of dishes, local produce and sessional ingredients. The menu covers meat, fish and vegetarian. You might have to book ahead, its small and has limited seating but it is worth it."

"I ate here twice in May on my first visit to Ireland, first night I had probably one of the best burgers ever, toasted bun, a delicious burger onion rings to die for and a superb relish, you bet I enjoyed it, second time was fish and chips, equally as gorgeous. Do yourselves a favour, try the Irish coffee to top it all off. I'm back at the end of August, see you then."

"Whenever we visit the area, we always pop into the Old Head Café and have never been disappointed. It is set in a lovely quiet location, close to a fantastic beach. The staff, in spite of being so young, are wonderful, so welcoming and helpful. The garden is a terrific place to enjoy an ice cream or a coffee. Our children love the pizzas. I love the coffee."
