"We had something to do in Schermbeck on Saturday morning and didn't come to breakfast before. My husband was slowly crazy, so it quickly had to get something edible; right at the beginning of the city center is Ännekens Tenne. In the side street we also found a large parking lot. From the outside there was already an inviting impression, with some tables in front of the door. It was too cold to eat outside. The small café made a cozy impression from the inside. 3 tables were full of guests who had breakfast. It was 11:00 and my hope for breakfast rose. It wasn't a problem either, because you can have breakfast here until 12:00, so we were still full in time. The nice service brought us the map. It was possible to choose between small and large breakfasts or to combine breakfast individually. So we ordered 3 rolls (we could choose what kind of rolls we wanted, wheat rolls, grain rolls..., 3 servings of butter, once moved eggs, once a mirror and of course coffee, which also came immediately. The eggs were freshly prepared, decorated with a small salad and served with very small sliced tomato cubes and leek. Everything looked super appetizing and tasted so. The prices were not cheap, but also not overpriced. If we're back close, we'll be safe to eat here. Cup of coffee: 1.80€ Stirred eggs: 3.50€ Mirror eggs: 2.00€ Butter: 0.50€ Grain rolls 1.00€ together, breakfast for 2: 13.60€"

"Wir waren inzwischen mehrmals dort. Der Karte fehlt es an kleinen Gerichten, vor allem am Nachmittag. Es ist alles sehr traditionell. Im wunderschönen Garten fehlt es an kleinen liebevollen Arrangements. auf den Tischen. Es sieht immer aus, als hätte das Lokal gerade Ruhetag. Sitzkissen auf den Stühlen, eine freundliche Blume auf dem Tisch - es fehlt etwas Einladendes. Bei unserem letzten Besuch standen auf einem Teil der Terrasse Stühle und Tische zusammengeschoben - vielleicht von einer Gesellschaft zuvor. Niemand, auch nicht der Chef, fühlten sich bemüssigt, alles wieder vernünftig hinzustellen. Es war einfach ungemütlich!Der Service scheut sich nicht zu lügen (um sich Wege zu ersparen?) So hatte mein Sohn zu Beginn einen Café Creme bestellt und auch erhalten. Hinterher nahmen wir noch mal drei Café Creme, man brachte uns Filterkaffee und behauptete auf Nachfrage, es gäbe hier keinen Café Creme. Ein anderes Mal war mein Sohn mit einer Freundin dort. Er fragte nach der Eiskarte. Haben wir nicht, wurde ihm kurz beschieden. Später sah er am Nebentisch einen Eisbecher."
