"Located at perfect ocean front location in Cardiff. Parking is so hard unless you're up for a walk down the highway but they have valet for $7 which is so convenient. We requested for ocean view window seating and was seated there as requested without a problem. Started with cucumber jalapeño margarita and skinning. I liked the cucumber jalapeño more since I like a kick but next time I'd probably skip the agave as it was too sweet for my taste. They have a great gluten free and vegetarian menu which is one of the reasons i chose this restaurant as my husband is gluten sensitive. We got Cardiff roll which was excellent. Tuna and crab were both so fresh and we loved the raw jalapeño on top but it might not be for everyone. I'd love to try their sunset roll next time as it looked delicious with coconut shrimp inside. We shared the short rib entree and I'm so glad we shared and it was massive. I thought they had mistakenly put in an order for two but they had kindly split into two plates for us. The ribs were good. Brussels sprouts just okay a little under seasoned and potato gratin was mediocre. We had coconut cheese cake to share. Hubby loved it I thought it was okay but it might be because I'm a chocolate person. I'd go back to try other dishes"

"Amazing Sushi, but the staff will make you're dining experience worthwhile. If there's a seat at the bar, then I would highly suggest taking it for the full dining experience. They don't have a cocktail menu, so either you're pairing your meal with sake, beer and or wine. As for the sake we went with the bottle of junmai (cold sake) and chased it with Asahi Black. For the appetizers we went with the chicken (tatsutaage) which was cooked to perfection. Also, the mixed shrimp and vegetable tempura which was also delicious and very generous on the portion size. As for the nigiri, which stole the show for me, I would highly reccommend the ONO (wahoo) which is not found often on many menus, kanpachi (amberjack), unagi (freshwater eel), Hamachi (yellowtail) and Uni (they mainly get from Santa Barbara). I rarely come to north county, but I'll be coming more often now that I've discovered this wonderful establishment."
