"We had a fantastic lunch at the Moulin at Condac today. An excellent 3 course meal for € 12.50 on a beautiful terrace by the river. Even better for me that on this menu, if asked, they made sure that I have a milk-free option than I allergic. Since her cream was made for dessert from a crème vegetale, I could even have the dessert as it was, what was a first for me in France. Very glad to have enjoyed a delicious meal here."

"Received a warm welcome from mine host. Sat outside on a quiet Sunday in down town Verteuil, somewhere in the Charentes region. We sat outside and chatted with the owner who was very urbane. My mate and I had the spicy pumpkin soup with Ceps on toast, very yummy, lots of flavour. Our chauffeur had the rump of lamb, which looked very tasty. Sitting by the river was just magical, and the owner then showed us the very old crypt which will be used for the new years eve celebrations. Just wish I lived closer!"
