"Fun fact starter: we didn 't know that the official name is Alpli Unterwasse, but can be. For us it was called by Restaurant Älpli by everyone who recommended it : We hiked up to restaurant Älpli pretty much from around downtown Krinau, which was quite a consistent climb. No problem though just keep at it! The place itself is a nice, small stube type place with primarily large, wooden, communal tables. All the things we ate were quite nice actually and service was friendly enough and what adds to that is the ambiance of the place. Being not Swiss (not even just not locals it was nice to be surrounded by only people that appeared even fully local (and not just Swiss . So anyhoo, if you are around the area hiking or so, do give them a visit, as the whole house has a nice atmosphere!"

"Ich habe das Restaurant heute zum ersten mal besucht.Beim anblick der Gaststätte und dessen alter War ich etwas skeptisch gewesen.Doch wurde ich im innern durch ein sauberes und heimeliges Ambiente überrascht.Der Service schön gekleidet macht einen guten Eindruck.Die Gaststätte trotz ihrer abgelegenen Lage gut besucht.Die Speisen wahren sehr schön angerichtet und Schmecken mir allesamt sehr (Kompliment an die Küche)Ehrlichgesagt bin ich von der Qualität des ganzen Überrascht worden das hätte ich nie und nimmer hier erwartet.Mit gutem Gewissen kann ich das Restaurant weiter empfehlen.Gerne komme ich wieder einmal vorbei.Mfg ramsicrew"

"We stopped for dinner and for a night during a hiking tour in Switzerland and we found ourselves very well. Great food, for the most part produced by them (cheeses and sausages;) also produce a very good lemonade! . The room was very nice; definitely above the average for a shelter. poor breakfast. Overall I recommend it!"
