"This little restaurant was on the way to the supermarket and was a chance find around lunchtime. The 'A ' board outside caught our eye as it advertised a starter, plate de jour, dessert, wine and coffee for just 11 euros! We were not disappointed, a self service buffet for the starter, a good main dish, followed up with a cheese course, the dessert and then coffee, not to mention the free 75cl bottle of wine with the meal all for e11. Truly excellent value! So good we returned the next day to do lunch again, this time we were offered and accepted a second helping of the main dish, roast beef!! If only we had places like this in the UK. Thoroughly recommend a visit!"
The restaurant also offers the possibility to sit outside and be served in pleasant weather.

"With only 3 tables to be served, at the hottest of the evening (Friday 19 August), the service was a little slow, even if the reception was friendly. At 3 adults and a child we had for a little more than 82 Euros (1 apéro, 2 galettes and 1 crêpe for adults, 1 galette and 1 ice cream for our little girl). I found that the choice of specialities in cakes was a little limited and that special cakes were not sufficiently copied ... Finally to finish, unlike the majority of the establishments in this very tourist region, it does not accept Holiday Cheques ... We wanted to try this discreet crêperie located in Port à la duc, but I don't think I'd go back."

"We visited this restaurant times during our stay at the le chatelet campsite. Lovely restaurant very friendly helpful staff. I had the plat de jour twice which is excellent value for money and the al a carte. My son had lovely burgers and pizza....The moules frites are excellent and plentiful. The salmon and sauce is very tasty. Great restaurant would recommend without a doubt."

"Paradis pour tous, escale impressionniste, port d'attache de la simplicité et du raffinement de l'accueil. Patrick et Joëlle ne sont pas des professionnels de la restauration, mais ils ont su avec coeur et un rapport qualité prix exemplaire, faire de leur terrasse, haut perché, qui domine la baie de St-Cast, le must des salons de thé reposant et dépaysant. Une originalité débordante de gentillesse. Je suis reporter depuis trente ans et apres avoir fréquenté moult restaurants, hôtels, chambres d'hote et des salons de thé, j'estime que l'accueil des "clients" est maintenant essentiel. Le client n'est pas le "Roi" bien loin de moi cette pensée. Mais cette chaleur humaine qu'envoie Joelle et Patrick qui ont créé cette thé...race pour leur fille handicapée Emma, fait du bien à l'âme. Tour à tour, ils viennent s'inquiéter à votre table si "tout va bien". La conversation peut alors s'engager sur le temps et les belles choses de la vie. Bien sur la satisfaction gourmande va ensuite s'envoler comme un papillon ravi du suc qu'il va prélever sur la fleur. Des crèpes, des crumbles, du far au caramel, des financiers et j'en passe. Les thés sont le plus souvent des essences ramenées de leurs voyages. Du raffinement et des parfums subtils. Et les confitures fabriquees sur place, des traditionnelles à celle épicées ou au chutney. Il ne s'agit pas ici d'un "papier de complaisance" mais de mettre en avant une famille qui sait recevoir. Comment passer sous silence la fantastico coloriste terrace so british et Breizh en même temps.. Des pivoines, des roses, lavande, marguerites, lavatère, et bien d'autres plus rares... a leurs pieds, d'étonnantes compositions de mosaïques de morceaux de céramiques, seconde peau de pots en terres, de balustres, ou autres jardinières. Vous pouvez flâner sur trois terrasses et tombez nez à nez avec une sculpture crocodile en bois ou les yeux sont des poires qui dégoulinent des poiriers en espaliers qui ornent un mur de pierre. Je ne parlerais pas des tables de la terrasse qui se révèlent êtres d'anciens supports de machine à coudre, d'un immense banc lit d'où vous resterez coi à la vue d'une maree basse, découvrant les ilôts des Ebihens. Dernière découverte ou presque, le salon intérieur pour les frileux ou en cas de pluie, où vos yeux pourront dévorer des objets insolites et la collection de confitures de la chef Joëlle. Voilà cet endroit sûrement unique en Bretagne mérite plus qu'un détour. Pour y acccéder faites l'effort d'emprunter la promenade plage-port. Cela motivera votre gourmandise.
