"Okay ironic- I wouldn't come for her Shabu Shabu (although it was AYCE all-you-can-eat because it wasn't wearing me with her small selection. Everyone looked delicious and we tried 4 dishes and everyone bleededed me away! We had their slowly cooked ribs, szechuan stir fry eggplant with chicken, popcorn chicken, clams.. and everything was very well seasoned! Definitely would come back when I'm back in the area. PS-you have to order page rice; can not bring a single drop of SAUCE to waste;"

"We went with a group of nine of us. We had reservations and it was pretty busy on a Saturday night around 6pm. This place is AYCE and you choose your broth and then your meats and veggies. Meat is thinly sliced and pretty much melts in your mouth. Good selection of veggies to choose from as well as a variety of noodles. Basically it's the same as any other shabushabu place. Price and AYCE is great. Service is a bit slow so I would order more food when you're half way done with what you already have because we had to wait maybe 5 minutes in between and it sorta ruins the flow of dinner. I think the broth was a little salty which is probably why it gave the meat a nice flavor, I ended up drinking a lot of water! The burner/stove is a portable stove so it does slide and move on the table which could be dangerous. I would go again only because the selection is good and it's AYCE!"

"I usually go to the Kozo in Kaneohe I went there since I was high school. They never disappoint. I had cravings and the Kaneohe Kozo was closed so I came to Hawaii Kai and .25 cents for ONE SLICE of avocado ???? SERIOUSLY . The bowl isn't as good as the one in Kaneohe . Barely any sauce shitty portions"

"We used to love Maile's Thai Bistro, but things changed when they started adding extra fees. As soon as we saw the sign about a 3% kitchen fee and a 3% credit card fee, we decided to leave. I don't mind paying with my card, but I draw the line at paying extra just for using the kitchen. It's the same kind of thing that caused Scratch Kitchen to go under, and I won't stand for it."
