"Recently we stayed at this Restaurant in their vacation apartment. The owners were nice but the apartment was not clean as I would have expected. The beds were comfortable, the apartment is spacious, spiders on the bathroom ceiling, ash tray still full on the balcony, air filter in bathroom ceiling was completely dirty, not even a full curtain to cover the bath tub, kitchen had Food particles in the silverware tray, floor was not clean and alltogether made a run down appearance. My sister also saw it and she would not have stayed there, My niece stayed with her family there before and said that it lacked cleanliness. I would not stay there again. - We only ate one evening in the restaurant and the food was good and reasonable."

"Located in the village of Obereichsel, the Café Elke is a very popular restaurant with a large terrace overlooking a lovely valley. We had both lunch and dinner there and found the quality very good. Service at lunch was a little brisk, perhaps we had...caught the owner on a bad day, but other staff were charming and helpful. I got the impression that there were tables with great views for regulars and that passing trade was relegated to the lesser tables....hmmmm."

"Wir haben heute den 80. Geburtstag omi's im Nebenraum des Restaurants gefeiert... Das Ambiente im Inneren ist sehr warmherzig und mit diversen Kerzenständern sehr liebevoll dekoriert... Wer sich vom äusseren Industriecharm nicht beeindrucken lässt wird es nicht bereuen!!!Sie hat sich für eine Buffet-Variation entschieden, da sich da bestimmt für jeden Geschmack etwas findet.Bereits das Vorspeisen buffet war sehr lecker, alles sehr frische Komponenten und sehr schön präsentiert!!! Eine Änderung beim Hauptspeisenbuffet wurde nach Kundenwunsch sehr prompt, ohne Mehrpreis und unkompliziert bereits im Vorfeld zugesagt und auch ungesetzt. Die Schnitzel waren auf Grunde der Herkunft der Jubilarin ein renner und wurden sofort wieder nachgeliefert. Alle Speisen waren auf den Punkt zubereitet ! ,Auch das Dessertbuffet war selbst für mich als ansonsten kein Nachspeisen-Fan eibe Wucht, das Panna cotta mein Favorit! Ausser wirklich kleine Servicepannen und dem leider heute sehr heissen Wetter, welches den Nebenraum sehr aufheizte war dies ein perfektes Restaurant für unsere Feier!!"
