"We both had Corned beef and swiss on marbled rye with seasoned potato wedges. Our sandwiches were piled high with the corned beef and the potatoes were perfectly prepared. There was so much, we couldn't finish it, and had to get a to-go box. We sat at a table on the outside deck, and even though we were outside, our server was still very attentive. "We spend the biggest part of the summer there, and high tide is our favorite place to go. betty's homemade suppe is the best, the daily specialties are fantastic, and the wings and burgers are the best in the opposite. to extremely busy times (such as the different bar crawls) the service can be somewhat slower than usual, and people should expect that on a smaller, family-owned location, but I have never found that the personal is less than friendly and accommodating. Last summer I saw a bar crawl participant an absolute $$ *$le to the personal (and the place was packed) because it had been 15 minutes and she had not yet her food, and she was in a hurry. she was rude, obnoxious and insulting. but the bartender did his best to be composed and friendly. if she hadn't been half my age and twice my size, I would have liked to kick her in the ass to teach her some manage when it comes to people who do their best under stressful conditions!"
