"Best Chinese Buffet in OKC. My wife and I love Chinese buffet and this is, by far, our overall favorite. The entrees are tasty, crispy, fresh and not as completely drowned in orange/red/etc sweet sauces. Excellent Egg Foo Yung and the sushi is WAY better than any buffet should be. $6.99/lunch is a no brainer."

"I've been eating here for over four years. The owner is so beautiful and the food is great. I never had a problem with orders. Prices are good for quality, you should expect to pay a bit more for a locally owned sushi place. If the sushi is cheap, we expect a low quality as we are in a locked state. I would highly recommend visiting if you made fresh food with care."

The last time we came to Shawn’s Sushi, we were really disappointed and didn’t return for several months. However, my husband and I have a policy when it comes to food, service, or restaurants that disappointed our palette: that we have to revisit them in 6 months to a year and see if our experience is still consistent (unless, of course, it was a terrible, terrible experience that cannot be remedied). <br>

So, we ended up trying Shawn’s Sushi – and we were decently pleased. Still not the best sushi that I’ve ever tried, but the quality has gotten better (before, it was on par, if not less than days old “grocery” sushi). We ordered the Volcano Roll, Atomic Tootsie, and Shawn’s Spicy Tofu dish. His sushi rolls were with decent flavor, and the Spicy Tofu was good, especially if you need to clear your sinuses and want something easy to go down the throat. While his sushi is not something that I will be racing back to try, I know that I won’t be appalled or hesitant to try his other sushi rolls and dishes again!"

"I have found that if a restaurant puts its name on a dish, it's probably good. This was certainly true with this restaurant. I got the Dot Wo hot pot. Lots of meat, shellfish, the fried tofu was a great contrast of taste and texture, veggies crisp but done, sauce mild, but flavorful with an occasional burst of ginger. Lots of Asian food is too salty, but this wasn't. More than I could hope to eat. Pleasant staff, comfortable surroundings. Not the cheapest in the world, but a top value for the money. Recommended."
