"Goodbye 2013, Hello Geno's. My husband and I have lived in Northeast Louisiana all of our lives. We have always wanted to go to Geno's but never made the time. We have been MISSING out. We went to Genos on New Years Eve. We both had Lasagna and it was fantastic. The old building has lots of charm. It was like being in someone's kitchen. When I go to a restaurant for the first time, I always order the dish they are known for. I was not disappointed at Geno's. Even though the restaurant was busy, our food prep and delivery time was perfect, allowing us to have a drink before the meal arrived. Red, our waiter, was great. He reminded us of Chumley from Pawn Stars. Geno's is where the local's eat... wherever we go, we always seek out places that the locals eat. I totally understand why this place has been in business since the 1960's. Fat Clemenza's in Destin. FL is the closest comparison I can make to Geno's food. Geno's location has more charm than Fat Clemenza's, though. We will definitely make this one of our regular place to eat."

"Myself and those with me didn't particularly care for this place. They get 2 stars for very friendly staff and the bread was pretty good. As for the rest of the food, to me it isn't fresh or homemade. Pre grilled chicken, mushrooms from a jar or can, etc. The bread, although homemade, was sliced so thin it can't support the toppings in the sandwich. We just didn't expect what we got."

"Good food. I had the land fried chicken and I accidentally got the dinner part. It is gigantic, should be divided between two people. Very good and very large. We had a wonderful waitress who let us sit there and had to recover from huge meals as we were on a trip and had a long way to go."

"We were in west monroe over night and the chief of my mannes told me to find a restaurant with most stars. that was the first one I took over. Four stars. we loved eating absolutely. the customer service was amazing. the restaurant was very clean and spacious. we will definitely come back."
