"First off, it was a first date. The food and atmosphere was nice but casual. Classy but informal. The red dragon roll is amazing and she had the tuna and we had a cute date trying each other's food. As a matter of fact we're still dating and I give this place some credit."

"I’m originally from New York so, I know all about quality Chinese take out. I found it very difficult to find take out spots when I moved here but, South China is great! I’ve been ordering food from this restaurant for almost 3 years and have never had an issue with them. The staff always greets me with a pleasant attitude and my food is always hot. It is the best quality Chinese take out I’ve had in Kannapolis. My family and I have also never gotten sick from eating here."

"If I could give them 100 stars, I would do that, this place is more absolute mist with an absolute rude, unorganized and unruly staff. 03. februar 2014, we ordered boneless ersatzribs, house fried rice, crab gangoon, shrimp ice roll and steamed dumplings. the rice was crispy, the crumb noodle and steamed noodles were so tender and doughy. we tried to get that soggy stuff in the many. we called to complain and could not understand or communicate with anyone we spoke to. we ordered to supply the food online because we have no care. they insisted that we come to get new food. we insisted that they bring us new food, or they reimburse our money. They sent someone to our house to get the evil food, then charged us again instead of reimbursing us, so we had to sit online with the CC company to contest the complaint. never again. it is my recommendation that they stay away from south china restaurant."

"We discovered Bonsai when it was Sunshine’s in downtown Kannapolis. Sunshine said her main ingredient was “love” and that she blessed every dish. It was obvious then and that main ingredient is served to this day. This restaurant is a family favorite. Food is amazing. Sunshine used to prepare our food for us based on what we needed and she was never wrong. She would say, I bring you something special. And it always was. Just my opinion but anything less than a 5 star review I just do not understand. I guess we all have off days? Prices are very affordable. Skip the China Buffet up the street and drive towards the fire station. Sunshine’s is behind it. They would have more stars if I could give them. I love that they moved bc I can walk there from my house."
