"Hiding behind the bar is a wonderful little dining room, with a lovely view down into the valley. Our group of 4 was seated next to the larg picture window so that we cou enjoy it. We had numerous local dishes and the food was all delicious and so plentiful that we could not eat it all. The waiter was very happy to help us (some of our group did not speak much Spanish) and he was able to describe the various dishes in English as well. He told us about lots of things to see in the area and even drew us a little map! Our meal there was one of the unplanned finds that made our trip so special"

"We first visited the village of Sequeros in Salamanca province about 10 years ago and went back this year to experience once again its rural charms. We were however delighted to find that progress is good and, in total sympathy with environment, there is now a new restaurant with rooms in the village : Casa Margo. David Garcia Margo, the owner, is a delight and could not have been more helpful to me as a vegetarian and to my husband who relished the local dishes prepared with care and flair. David was happy to discuss and prepare vegetarian options for me and although we were in a self catering house we chose to eat in Casa Margo several times. The rooms (which we did not see) look great in the publicity shots and overall Casa Margo would make an excellent base for touring this most interesting area not yet much on the tourist trail."
