"Whenever I am in Verden, I also go shopping in the pedestrian zone, and in the middle is this café, which also has a small terrace, from which you can watch life and drive in the pedestrian zone. In beautiful weather I sit outside and enjoy the cake with coffee. I haven't tried the homemade ice yet. The merging rooms are designed differently with different furniture, a fully lovingly furnished coffee house. On the back there is a smoker area which is also used. I've eaten several turtles, all very well wounded. But the best for me was the “Seiferth Speciality Cake” well known over the city boundaries: a Calorie bomb made of almond floor, cream and marzipan, decorated with small chocolate bottles. The recipe is absolutely secret, the owner has even secured the patent on the name. The very beautifully designed shop window shows creatively designed cakes and other treats, e.g. the Verden apples made from chocolate and look similar to the real horse apples for confusion. The handmade chocolates from the finest raw materials in the sales area also look tempting. A free internet hotspot is available to guests."
