"Delicious food with a view. We dinner at this restaurant while on holiday in Dana Point. We had read the mixed reviews, but decided to try it if for nothing else, for the view. It was a happy hour and we decided to sit on the terrace. We saw 3 different people bringing menus, water and some lime before we saw our waiter. He ran like crazy and tried to maintain. After ordering drinks and waiting for another 10 minutes to watch how they run from table to table with the time to stop for us, we asked to be moved up into the dining room in the hope of better service. We were. Our new waiter was very friendly as the manager who was seen to talk to guests and servers to make sure everything went smoothly. We ordered an appetizer, the crabs beignets. They were wonderful!! I'd really recomend her. We shared Clam Chowder, who was also phenomenal. Only the problem we have was when the main ridge dinner was delivered, it was well done, dry and hard instead of medium rare as ordered. We asked the waiter about it, and he argued that it was medium rare (combating with customers is a huge animal peive). Steak is easy to recognize from the website as well as the feeling of meat and that was shoe leather. The meal was new and came out perfectly and tasted wonderful. If we come back, we would definitely return to this restaurant. Staff problems may have been a unique problem, and the manager seems to be in control. Good food and great views!"

"Ekk- eating was really terrible. I have the seafood bisque and the seafood salad. both were extremely questionable. You could say the suppe was old as if."

"Dinner on Christmas Day, 2022. Restaurant was very busy but we were seated right away, even a few minutes before our reservation time. We were seated at a window with a great view of the harbor which we had not requested nor expected. This was a great start! Our server was a delightful young lady named Alex. She was great! My wife had the macadamia crusted mahi-mahi and I had the sirloin steak. Both were very delicious and cooked to perfection. Then we shared an apple crisp ala mode which was also good. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and we are looking forward to our return visit dining at Wind Sea. We hope to get Alex as our server again because we both felt she was a breath of fresh air!"

"I was spending time with my friend who is visiting from North Carolina. I chose your restaurant and it could not have been more perfect. We sat by the window, the sun was shining , the seals were playing, kayaks went by the window. It was beautiful and the fish and chips were delicious. Shaun was a great waiter and made our experience memorable."
