"We had a lovely lunch sitting by the fire and watching the peacocks wandering around outside. My mushroom & leek pastry was lovely. Full of flavor. And my dessert was a very sophisticated kind of chocolate ripple cake with meringue and was one of the nicest desserts I have ever tasted. Lovely environment with good service."

"At long last, I finally ate here last night. And oh my goodness.... it was absolutely superb. I was desperately hoping it would be good, and it exceeded my every expectation. Deep fried crocodile, Chimichanga (deep fried shredded beef burrito), Boston Butt (pork shoulder with BBQ sauce), Boudin balls (deep fried cajun sausage balls), hot wings.... absolutely sublime. And, added bonus, the atmosphere was awesome, the staff were wonderful and the overall feel of the place was just fabulous. My new favourite restaurant! Literally can hardly wait to go back to try some more of the dishes on the menu. It's so rare to have a 5 out of 5 dining experience these days but Smokey Joe's you've nailed it."

"Ordered delivery on a Sunday night which we waited over an hour for two small pizzas to arrive. Ordered a vegetarian with way too much cheese, pineapple and onion in it that the middle and base of the pizza was soggy! Overall bad taste in my mouth of semi melter cheese. Definitely wouldn't recommend the vegetarian and will be trying pizza elsewhere next time!"
