"The ambiance was nice. Server was friendly. We got the french fries with aioli dipping sauce, Thai style satay, the sliders All was delicious. However, our food was not hot/warm when it came out. For the prices it should have definitely been hot."

"Longhi's is a great restaurant in a prime dining location. If its available, the Mongchong fish is amazing, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, whether it is seafood, meat or pasta. One thing that stands out is the service. Myself and whoever I am dining with always have a great experience due especially to the atmosphere, and of course the good food, which is priced very appropriately for the quality of the food. I would definitely recommend both Longhi's restaurants on Maui (Lahaina and Wailea locations)."

"We have been before and really enjoyed it. This time we were disappointed. We were there for a birthday celebration. The process to be seated was very unorganized. Our service was very slow. They appeared to be understaffed."

"So disappointed. When we got there (a few minutes early) we were told there would be about a thirty minute wait. So my boyfriend and I tried to kill time and grab a drink at the bar. that did NOT go well. We were totally ignored. We tried to get the bartenders attention a few times, even made direct eye contact, but he never helped us ... So, after about ten minutes, we walked down to the other end of the crowded bar. The bartender on that side was nice and smiled, but she told us she was a service tender for wait staff and we would have to order on the other side ... So we went back to the other side and continued to be ignored for another five minutes. SOOOOOO we left and walked around the parking lot for a bit and found a place downstairs that sold beer by the can. My boyfriend bought and as soon as we cracked them open our table was ready. We went upstairs, and the waitress rudely confiscated his not-even-sipped-yet beer because you cannot bring outside beverages ... OK, whatever, I get it. it SUCKED because we *wanted* to buy drinks at the bar but no one would help us. but the REAL kicker is that when I made the reservation, I mentioned that it was my Boyfriends Birthday and requested that they bring him something with a candle in it to surprise him (I said on the reservation that I didn't want him to know I told them it was his birthday and that I wanted it to be a surprise) ... while we were eating, a table next to us celebrated a birthday with a candle, so I was certain his would be coming at the end of the meal. Nope. Nada. So for his birthday ... all he got was bad service and his beer taken away from him. (and again, I get it. no outside drinks. but she was real rude about it) I felt SO bad!!! it was our first night in Hawaii and I wish we would have gone somewhere else. What an (expensive) waste of time and money."
