"I ordered from them last night. I thought it was the restaurant across from the Hamden High school. I should have canceled my order immediately. The shrimp dumplings were delicious. The wings were too. The egg foo young was inedible. I had to throw the first patty out. I saved the second patty as I was going to return it and ask them that they redo the order. I spent $57, so I thought that would be an easy ask. I called today to tell them of my experience; starting with how the food was good except the egg foo young which was burnt. She said it is deep fried...so it is dark like that. I told her that I had been eating egg foo young for 40 years and this was burnt. I know what char and carbon tastes like. This was burnt beyond being edible. Well, we have been selling it for years and never had a complaint , she said rudely. I told her well, I 'm telling you that it was burnt and I will bring it back and would like another one. She made it plain that wouldn 't be happening. I made it plain I would leave this review and that she lost my business forever. Not because the food was burnt. Anyone can make a mistake. She lost my business because of her attitude. For the price of less than $1, she could have made $50+ a week from me. Serves me right for trying something besides my usual even if it was by mistake."

"I had a wonderful experience here. Friday night, 15 minutes before the closing time, we called and asked if we could order something. We were on the highway trying to avoid fa(s)t food chains. We were only 5 minutes away, so we ordered when we got there. Four of us, four different dishes, all delicious, well packed good portions. Service was great despite our late arrival we had a beer while we waited. I will look back on future trips through Connecticut"
