"First time dining here tonight. My date and I had the prime rib and was cooked exactly to order and had great flavor. Food came out right away. Our waiter was great. My only complaint was even though I had a reservation it was about a 1/2 hour before we were seated."

"It's just a food truck with one picnic table to set at while you are waiting for your food to cook. The fish and hush puppies were good, though. They need an inside place to set down and eat, need more help, a bigger place, and/or another place on the southeast side of Springfield. I'm not from Springfield, so of course by the time I got home I had to reheat everything. If you live in Springfield, I could see where you would want to take the food home and eat it."

"I had been looking for a place in town to get some good fried chicken. I kept seeing the name MJ's on social media, but kept overlooking it. This past Saturday, my husband and I finally decided to go, and, it was way more than I could have imagined. They have such a mouthwatering menu, that I had a hard time choosing where to start (because we're definitely coming back). I ordered the Walleye shrimp, with onion rings and a couple of chicken wings on the side. I felt embarrassed by how much food we received! I could not finish it in one sitting and, let me tell you, it was DELICIOUS and HOT!. I wanted to go eat in the park that day, but the restaurant is clean cozy, and in a nice location to sit and enjoy your meal. I have moved this to my frequent visit list!"

"I went through the drive thru then when I got all the way home, I realized my hot dog with onions and mustard wasn’t in the bag like I stated to the guy. The guy apparently couldn’t understand English and began to state that he knew it was in the bag cause he put it in there. I told him it wasn’t. He then started again saying yet again that it was in the bag and I finally lost my temper, then told him firmly “No it wasn’t!”. The manager then got involved and still made me pay $5 for another hot dog that should have been on the order the first time I came. I will not be coming back to this establishment."
