"Two visits during Corona Lockdown, both Currywurst/Pommes/Mayo, to take away. For the maximum of stars. Everything together for us qualitatv simply lace. The sausage is very tasteful; the Curry Sosse deserves her name intensely, but neither offensively sharp nor mad; the pommes at the point crunchy, the Mayo pleasantly round . "In the high season and in good weather, the bear is likely to step at Ria ́s Beach Bar and Bistros. The location is wonderful, in 1st row, on the well visited beach promenade of Borkum, with magnificent views of the North Sea and the sand benches. The music pavilion, often played several times a day, is virtually right in front of the front door, but internally you are also lulled in chilly-musically. Now is even CD Ria’s Beach Vol. 1, for those who want to get back home on their beach holiday. On the island of the maritime overkill, where there are other places, you can sit here on exotic South Sea flair and awakened colorful colors. Even on the cash box, flowers are printed. Ria ́s is hardly over, because the white-washed restaurant has opened all year round, from 10 a.m. to at least 22 a.m. (then the kitchen is closed, sometimes also until later. I can imagine that in the evening you can sit very nicely on a drink on the terrace and enjoy the sunset. At the end of April, unfortunately, this is not possible – even during the day, the wind whistles so mercilessly that I flee to the local in the early afternoon. The bright, flat-lying place is flooded with light. Squeaky green lights the walls and the covers of the seating furniture, in between it sprinkled exotic green, a carefully tile tile floor with a transversely laid laminate ensures flooring. On the long bar you can sit on white bar stools with zebra covers. There's a slaughtered car in the entrance. The interior designer Mut has known here! The specialties include breakfast, burgers, steaks, crêpes, salads, scampi in garlic oil, cocktails. In addition to an extensive breakfast card, vegetarian dishes and, of course, the extensive range of drinks and alcoholic drinks are also impressive. In the afternoon I take a simple cappuccino for 3.20 euros. It is served in a small banged cup, is mega-fluffy and seems to consist only of milk foam at first glance. The espresso part feels so small that I am almost inclined to order a second cup, but with a look at the clock I have to break up to my next appointment. Except for me, for the best coffee and cake period, only 2 women with small child are sitting in the restaurant. Here, a children's chair is quickly enchanted and the little one seems to feel comfortable in this cheerful ambience. Due to the flattering situation, the restaurant can also be reached without restriction for disabled persons. If I understood it correctly, the “Ria ́s family” also includes the beachhouse in the beachfront yard, a modern boutique hotel with floral flair. The owner Beatrix Effort seems to have a good hand for exceptional locations, exotic ambience and publicly active drummers – or after all have engaged a great interior designer. "There are two vegan burgers on the menu with different bungalow options. the nachos fresh guacamole on the menu) are really good. they are something between a pita brot and flour tortillas. fries and tumbler rings are also quite good. the vegan burgerpatty alterations, both were good, but the first was more a shattered vegetable patchty and the second was a bohnenpatty with a nuss coating that was more on our all. there are many seats outside, but it was either rainy or really windy, both of them were there so we sat inside. they also have a good craft beer selection and some really interesting cocktails (the Brazilian maultier was great). my only wish is that the guacamole has a little more warm. the koleslaw that comes with all the burgers is not vegan, so make sure they do not contain it. I didn't try the flower carvings, so I'm not sure whether they replace the non-vegan ranch or the blue cheese dip with something else without cost."

"Not only Borkumkenners will be thrilled by the region of Ostland: very primitive, full of pure nature and extensive views. A trip here, whether by bus or coach, by pedes or by bike, is one of the highlights and can hardly be topped. There are exactly two locals at the place – and they are usually propitious and more than well visited. Only in low season you can easily find a place here. But even outside the season, the service can be quite sweating in the face of an unexpected group (which also has a limited time). So also at our stop at about 3:00 a.m. on a nice Tuesday afternoon. The Oldtimerbus continues in a half hour without grace, before that there are still coffee, tea, cakes and toilets. This leads to short-term discussions under the service, because apparently nobody wants to rush here. There are word changes that are not intended for the guest, which then also seem embarrassing to ailing. With the slogan “The Last Restaurant Before Juist” the rustic, rustically decorated restaurant, with a cosy guest garden, where the spades are strolling and looking for brisks. Probably the “Eastland” was once a farm with attached stables. Now you can sit here very nicely on wooden furniture between nice tinnef and lovingly bound flower bouquets. In between an old buffet or an even older wooden dresser. The guest rooms are distributed on two levels, with the stairway to the lower level and the toilets being somewhat gloomy and badly illuminated, so that some disabled guests have slight difficulties.
