"It's a hole in a wall which you can easily pass because it has NO curb appeal and does not look like it's open. The service a bit dry. This why it looses a star. However I'm glad I tried it. They have a large variety of items on the menu. Pizza, wings, tenders, nuggets, fried chicken, salads, jamaican dishes, Indian dishes, seafood, pasta, hot/cold subs, and calzones and more. I only tried the pizza. I loved it. It's a thin crust with plenty of cheese and sauce. I will definitely be back. They open late and The prices are fair too."

"Lmao if I could lower than one star I would . I used to frequent here like 3-4 years ago when I first found out about it and when I finally came back to Jonesboro it , of course , was under new management and a whole new staff and now it’s terrible . Portions were not as big as they used to be and you didn’t even get a butter. Got all that sea food and had to pay to get butter with it like what . When I was first going there you got 2 butters with it and then you paid for extra if wanted some (but it also wasn’t that much extra) . When I went they wanted you to pay damn near $2 for a butter . They went completely down hill after new people came in."

"I traveled from Charlotte to order a batch of wings. LOL, not really. I was already in town to hang out but ordered 20 wings to go before driving back to the Carolinas. The chicken is not over battered and has a great flavor. It's takeout only, suggest to order ahead they get very busy. The fish is good also. We always order the large try for family functions."

"I ordered the fish soup , it was ok but boy it was too too too salty . And I was hoping to see pieces of fish not the entire fish with the head and tail all stuck in the bowl . I don’t think I will re order it again ."

"I love captain D’s food. Unfortunately twice in a week my order was wrong. The first time the young lady at the window was very apologetic about the mistakes that she made. And that was great, but when I got home, she never really corrected the mistake. My order was still wrong. Today, February 27 about 3:50 in the afternoon my husband and I came by again and we placed an order. We had to wait about 15 minutes for it to be brought to the car. When the food got to the car we came home and it was not what we ordered. It was a fish sandwich and fries not the fish dinners that we ordered, I tried to call back. The young lady answered the phone. I asked for a manager and I had to hold on for over 30 minutes before I hung up. Tried several times to call back, and from that time on a message came on and said there was trouble with my call.My request is just takes some time train these young people. If you want to keep this great business going, train them."

"I went there on a Friday night with my brother and sister. To begin with, when we walked in they had a DJ playing music, but it was uncomfortably loud. The music choice was great, but I couldn't even hear myself think. When we asked the host if we could sit somewhere farther from the music, she went to ask the manager and came back and gave us some excuse as to why we couldn't. Then our waitress, she came to us about 5 minutes after we sat down, and after that, we only saw her three times, when she brought us our drinks, and our food. At the end of the night, we hadn't seen her for so long after she gave us the bill, my brother had to go to the host to ask to pay because we were ready to go. And in the midst of us eating, a fight broke out between a man and a woman, and several employees and other customers and to break it up. I had my phone ready, but after they broke it up, the man left, and everyone went back as if nothing had happened. However, the food I must say was very delicious, except for the appetizers. We ordered Mozzarella sticks, and they were subpar at best. But for the main course, my siblings had the crab boil, and I had their fried platter of catfish, and popcorn shrimp with fries. From what I got from my siblings, they said the boil was really good, however, my brother stated that from other places he's been to, they would give him two crab clusters, to their one. But they both said the flavor was good. My fried platter was delicious, the fish and shrimp were cooked to perfection, and the spices were great, they both had a Cajun flavoring, that took it to the next level. And they paired with their significant boom boom sauce, and that topped it off. So aside from the service and atmosphere, whenever I'm back in Atlanta I would go back, and take my food to go lol."

"If you’re on a soul food budget this isn’t the place for you. However,… if you want quality this is the place to grub. The food is phenomenal and the customer service was A1. Pricey but worth every dime. I ordered the baked chicken, collard greens, Mac n cheese, sweet potatoes and black eye peas with a sweet tea for the drink."
