"Always a good time at lunchtime. In order to have a pleasant meal, I welcome my clients and colleagues to this establishment. A warm welcome, simple brasserie-style catering. I recommend the Burgers with fries. They also have quite a collection of Belgian and local beers: a very good cellar. Don't hesitate to stop by! "We discovered this great little cafe while following a Déviation off the main route from southern Brittany to the channel ports. It is slightly out of the way but four months later I’m still thinking about the salad, it was fantastic, I had no idea a salad could be so good. They rustled up some very good proper chunky chips for our two children. The Cafe Vagabond also offers a proper breakfast on Sunday mornings.While it doesn’t go overboard on great decor there is a pleasant outside seating area and everything was clean and tidy.Free WiFi is available"

"My friends had visitors when I booked the flight to RENNES for a week at the end of August 2014. They know the owners of the Vagabond well & told them of our plight. No problem, they gave us a twin room with en-suite for 3 nights. Very clean & modern. There's a nice modern kitchen that is fully equipped with coffee pots kettle fridges microwave cooker pots & pans, we made ourselves a snack before bed. The next day we went up the road to the Super U for groceries & milk & put them in one of the fridges!Everything was spotless, well equipped, bright & modern & the owners friendly & cheerful. There is a car park on the left just after the Vagabond Cafe & that's where the entrance to the apartments is. On Sundays the locals meet up in the Vagabond cafe that serves all day breakfast along with other mouthwatering dishes.We would definitely stay there again!Thank you for putting us up at such short noticeJ & Gill"
