"The Hotel Gasthof Zur Windmuhle is a comfortable, friendly place to stay! I have stayed there numerous times for work and vacation and always find it clean, quiet and friendly. It is family owned and operated. The restaurant serves delicious, traditional, German food. The owners and staff and super friendly and helpful!"

"War mit einer Freundin am Sonntag Abend da. Sonderlich viel los war nicht. Das Ambiente ist dann der vielen Pflanzen ganz hübsch, die Einrichtung und Ausstattung wirkt hier und da aber etwas abgenutzt. Das Personal hätte etwas freundlicher und schneller sein können. Wir hatten das Buffet gewählt. Die Auswahl inkl. Grill ist ganz gut und die Qualität ok. Nichts überragendes, aber nicht schlecht. Allerdings hab ich inkl. einem Getränk und Trinkgeld 18€ bezahlt und dafür war mir das in Summe zu "billig"."

"This review is for their restaurant only. I didn't stay at their hotel. It's a solid Franconian restaurant in Ansbach. Like many other establishments in Germany, this restaurant is family-owned and operated. Service is excellent. Menu is quite extensive from appetizers to main course meals. Franconian dishes tend to be very hearty like American comfort foods. If you don't like/eat pork, your options will be limited. Vegetarian options area somewhat limited. Price is quite reasonable for the serving size. Bon Appétit!"
