"They have 2 vegan pasty's available any given day, one standard roast veg and second one rotating between satay tofu, Moroccan baked bean. These are all yummy but its a shame they only have 2 at a time because they often sell out. Its quick and tasty, but better going to the vegan store next door!"

"Newly opened six weeks, Katy is a beautiful six-year vegan animal lover with the gosh daring sweetest Dang Food stable in Queensland. What a treasure to find Katy's Vegan Kitchen newly opened in Maleny city centre. I ordered and loved the Schokopudding with blue berries and raspberries and the chocolate fruit slice Katy experimented with. Fantastico! I am very happy to be back soon with my full appetite for the basil Pesto Pasta and rotating menu of curries and spices!"

"Fabulous small authentic Thai restaurant in Maleny that we visited recently while on a short holiday break. It appeared quite popular on our visit by locals and visitors alike but we were able to obtain a table without delay. Service was quick, value for money terrific and more importantly food was delicious. We ate a selection of the mixed entrees and a chicken and cashew stir fry(which is a favourite of ours). Couldn't have chosen a better place to dine and looking forward to a revisit on our next break to the Sunshine Coast hinterland."

"We waited 45 min for our table after sitting in the bar area. We had to ask for our table before they finally came to seat us. The waiter then tried to offer us a drinks menu over the food menu (which we had memorised by this point . The menu offers nothing special in terms of Asian inspired cuisine and does not cater for many dietary requirements. After over ordering main meals we were told they did not provide take away containers for left over curries (even though the cooking school appears to be next door..? This was hyped up and we could not understand why. Service was average, waiters pretty much apologising for the fact they work at this establishment. Can recommend The Long Apron if you are after a lovely meal in the area."

"First day back in Maleny after a previous visit 3 months ago. Went in search of coffee and decided to try pallet life. It had been closed every day previously. The setting is very pleasant, live music playing and a big lizard hanging out in the back. My coffee experiences in Maleny had been good so I had my fingers crossed. Sadly the coffee was average. The information on the machine (although given with enthusiasm and a pleasant manner) was misleading, the information on the beans was misleading, the requested very short (25ml) shot was much bigger than that and the ice latte was 7.50! Overall a bit disappointing. The food offerings looked great but the coffee, although ok, was not up to my hoped for standard."
