"During my stay in Ivrea for a business trip, I was adviced by the local collegues to visit La Bella Dormiente to eat the best Pizza in Town. It turned out to be the best meal ever in Italie for a very good (low) price. I choosed the Insalata Di Mare as starter and was surprised by the Chef with fresh fish including Mussels, on a bed of salad. Served with Garlic bread and very nice served. The Pizza was a Quattro Stagioni, served with fresh pepper slices. Large size with plenty of topping. A very good is not the best pizza ever. I ordered a bottle of Chianti and the price turned out to be very modest. The bottle was presented in a gastronomic way. I was impressed! The total price for the meal exluding the bottle of Chianti but including 1/2 liter still water and an expresso cafe was .... Eur 20, I will return next week."

"This was an overnight stop as we travelled from Tuscany back up through France to the UK. The local hotel recommended it. We opted for the tasting menu and were brought plate after plate of superb, tasty seafood, in fact there was rather too much! Wine is available by the bottle or caraffe. One problem to warn potential diners about... mosquitos! This restaurant is very near a beautiful large lake and the mossies were a real problem, we were very badly bitten as hadn't thought to apply repellant."

"We ate very well and it was a pleasant romantic evening with my girlfriend. Pros: -The menu is presented well, not TOO refined and effective. It offers tradition and innovation together, a no-frills, quality cuisine -The dining room is very beautiful and impactful -The service is kind and helpful, the two young and very friendly waiters are a nice presence in the room -The waitress likes Stanger things -The dishes ordered were delicious and well presented. -We were offered a very good entree. Against: -The floor of the room wobbles slightly with every step, the waiters run a little too much and often collide, sometimes creating a slightly chaotic atmosphere. Sometimes it feels like eating on a stage from which you don 't really know which side the actors are supposed to exit from and this creates this stampede where they collide. -the entree plates were full of fingerprints on the brim of the hat -the grating of the truffle was a bit uncertain and the result was a bit meh, not centering the dish and consisting more of fragments than flakes. Perhaps the grater needs to be revised or perhaps the service needs to be improved. PS: Apart from the Florentine steak, the portions are not very generous, so I recommend ordering at least 2 courses each to fill yourself up a bit, but if you 're hungry, even 3 or the tasting menu. It 's true that the courses are expensive but the temptation to do an encore will still be great.
