"Visit with a good Groupon. Very nice patron who puts forward a minute kitchen bag or prepared with love. Very friendly waitress who seemed to start. Plat: fresh tuna tartare TRES generously served. Very good but missing in my opinion of character on seasoning. Dessert: gourmet coffee: good but nothing extraordinary (melly chocolate that seemed industrial, and floating island with strange English cream. I didn’t dare finish because the cream had a bit of a tour. Big black point: no air conditioning or even ventilation. Heat has cracked inside taking the step on the pleasure of lunch. However, I will return this winter to make a review again."

"A good friend led us to this very fine restaurant/café, which is located directly north of Lac du St Cassien, just before the roundabout. A bit spicy with fast traffic and small parking. But it is a parking lot and right next to the restaurant. Be careful. And it's worth it. The food is cooked to order and always good. We've eaten here a lot. Lunch is also a real value. Don't miss it."

"We stayed a week in Aug with our family party of and ate out twice at Le Spot. Service was excellent and the menu choice wide-ranging, with good options for the kids. The staff were very accommodating and we all enjoyed our various...meals. There was a lively band playing on the first night, which added to the ambience even more. The local petanque (boules) pitch is alongside and was busy both nights, all of which created a very French atmosphere. A lovely place to visit, in a beautiful village. We had a great week."

"We visited this restaurant twice because it was in walking distance of our accommodation. On our first visit we enjoyed the plat du jour cuisse de lapin and the chicken on the euros17 menu was tasty and wholesome. But on our return visit when no plat du jour was available we opted for the euros23 menu. Entrecote steak and cod were our main choices, just not nice. Our whitebait starter was dehydrated and chewy. Shame because the friendly and efficient staff made us welcome and we would have loved the place to work for us as it was so closeby. We gave 2 stars for the service but were very disappointed at the variable standard of the food."
