"Best place to eat vegetarian food in Osaka. The one set meal per day was initially an oddity but it has been one of the best meals I've had in Japan. It consisted of six different portions plus the best rice I've ever had in my life. I'd certainly come back. The tea serve with dinner was hoji tea and wonderful as well. The only downside I can think of is that it's not readily apparent where the restroom is, nor how to flush the toilet!"

"I love Indian and middle-eastern foods! They are so exotic and pleasant to my taste buds! I was so glad to find this place by chance from my vegan catoonist Natsumi's blog. The owner fell in love with Farafel in Germany and thought this amazing food is not yet well-known here in Japan, so he and she decided to introduce it here in Osaka! What a good decision!!"

"Since over an hour it went to find it, some nice people had tried to help us. Finally came there, and the only thing I found that I had not already seen in local super markets were Mexican ingredients (what tbh I was stolen) was quite expensive, and a bit of a mission, but had my bf with me so that we still enjoy on the trip."
Anticipate the varied, fine Mexican cuisine, which is usually prepared with corn, beans and chilies (hot peppers).

"I love stopping in Brooklyn and enjoying the Namba site more than the Kitahama, just because there is more space. Unfortunately, none of the baked goods are currently vegan, but the coffee is very cheap and I love that they do not charge extra for soy milk."

"I was in the middle of September hoping to buy some chocolate, but no luck. The owner said she didn't store chocolate during the warmer months and fair enough. Cookies were not vegan. I asked about the hours (because they are not in the list) and she said they vary. I told her I asked about the Happy Cow app. She had heard nothing about it and said she would get her daughter on how she studied in Canada for a while and therefore knows English. While the owner does not speak English, we have a little conversation with what Japanese I can speak, and in the end she offered me some tea!"
A visit to Ine is particularly valuable due to the large selection of coffee and tea specialties.
