"It is a shame that I seem to be the only TripAdvisor reviewer that is visiting eating places in this part of rural France! I reviewed La Maison des Fees during our previous visit to France earlier this year. This time we had the opportunity to take along some friends who were staying with us. One of them is a very fussy eater, so we wondered how she would cope with the no menu, eat what you get ethos. We needn’t have worried. We were served with a very tasty hot starter of lardons and small chicken pieces in an eggy, creamy sauce. It was delicious! That was followed by confit duck with sliced fried potatoes, again, very tasty. Then the usual piece of camembert followed by a choice of desserts. At 11€ per person to include bread, wine or cider and water, and coffee, I think that you would find it difficult to beat this for good value."
