"We fancied something quick and relaxed dining and found this little place. Piping hot food, good selection of drinks and big portions. Don’t understand other reviews that say the staff are rude. The man serving us was very friendly and gave good service. Would recommend if you fancy some good fast food and don’t want to pay restaurant prices for a night."

"We had such a lovely evening the food was really lovely but the main thing was how amazing the staff and owner were exceptionally helpful and great sense of humour we really enjoyed our evening."

"This was our best meal in Murren. I will admit we were a little confused upon arrival and unsure if it was self seating or wait to be seated. There were two women working that didn’t acknowledge us and we were thinking about leaving but so glad we stayed! After our initial hiccup, everything was perfect. The meal was delicious and service was great. Do not miss the sausage with onion gravy and spatzel, YUM! My husband had the burger and was also very happy. Be sure to check this place out!"

"A nice place to eat when in Wengen. Right outside the train station, it's a good place to eat as soon as you enter or when about to leave Wengen. The number of waiters were less, so the eairing time was a bit more. So make sure you have the entire order ready when the waiter comes to your table. They'll bring out the dishes in the respective order. Dishes were great and I would definitely recommend the tomato soup with gin in it."

"Berry at snackbar berry provided us with the some of the best service we had in Europe. Not only was he hospitable and personable, but he was extremely generous and let us use his printer to print our train tickets when we were in a jam. The coffee and baked goods were delicious. They provide free wifi, including outside seating with wonderful views in Murren. He also accepts several types of currency, which was very convenient. Finally, he and wife speak several languages, including very fluent English, which we found helpful. I would highly recommend snackbar berry to anyone visiting Murren."

"Decent hotel. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Communal spaces is very late 1980s early 1990s. Not cosy. Lovely pool. Rooms need many more electric sockets. We only had two in our room one by the front door (pretty useless for charging anything) another by the coffee machine. Had to disconnect the latter to charge phones. We had half board the food is not amazing. Plentiful, but more like a high quality school food than restaurant food."
