"18 months ago we had a lovely tapas type lunch here. It was that good we decided to go back. We arrived at 12:50pm to find it closed but opening at 1pm so we went to a local bar for a quick drink. We returned at 1.10pm to find it completely full with no spaces. Disaster. We returned the next day and got in early. Again it filled up quick. Lovely meal. Quick and efficient staff. See you next time."

"So disappointed. Been coming here every year for the last 16 years and the food has always been in Incredible. Even after changing of hands from the original owners. We visited for the first time since the beginning of 2020 to find out it had changed hands again but unfortunately this time for the worst. We had pizza to share as a starter and cannot fault that at all. It was delicious but 2 of us ordered seafood pasta for main and it was awful, couldn’t eat it, the colour was fowl. The menu is exactly the same but quite a few things were unavailable. No atmosphere inside, we were the only table inside of what used to be a very busy restaurant. Cannot fault the service though, the waitress we had was very nice. Won’t be going back again and it’s a shame as it was the highlight of the holiday going here"

"The best Arroz Caldoso con Bogavante (caldoso rice with lobster) I have ever tried! Very good home made wine too. The Galician octopus was delicious too, nothing to complain and a very good price compared to other places. Definitely worth the drive."

"My search for a decent steak with an even better sea view is over! the restaurant, at vista sur, certainly has a large vista, with views of the beach with views of palm mar in the far away. we stopped a few days before a coffee and decided to come back to dinner. it is a popular tourist restaurant – one of them with the identticit long menu, which means that everyone can find something to eat. we have no great expectations for eating, but we hope that it would be decent enough and we would have a nice evening. that was it, and we did. chopitos are one of those dishes that seem more about texture than taste. the baby in a crispy teig gave you mouthful cripple. a bit like the “Scraps” they would get at the chippy, but a tad more tasty. there are lemons to press – mayo or aioli for the dunes might have been even better. Garlic puzzles (gambas pil-pil) are a popular order when we are in Spain. large, juicy king garnels served in a dish with garlic and still fertile bubbling olive oil. we would have rejected the brot at the beginning of the meal, but that was perhaps a mistake – the dunking into the really delicious oil would have been good. pizza was good as a main course. a thin basic, not really crunchy enough, was cast with tomato sauce, cheese, olive, sardella and a little tinted thun fish. so to the important steak that brought us here. filet will never be the most tasty, but it will show how good the kitchen can cook. that was absolutely in order. cooked exactly on the Spanish interpretation of “Medium”, it was perfect medium rare. it comes with fried mixed vegetables – courgette, aubergine and paprika – and a few chips. Yes, I can see myself at the future celebration opportunity to cuckoo into this while I look at the atlantic. for desserts we had one of these fruit, ice and quirty cream scenes that make Spanish tourist restaurants so good. or at least if not well then extravagant. for one of us, a classic banan gap and for the other, fruits of forest ice cream decorated with slices of apple before there was a good one – can be seen by a heavy hand with the smooth cream. it was a beautiful evening. service was very good. the things have happened without you really notice that they were, and it always seemed to be a worker when they needed something."

"Common that is worth the detour only if you have time because nothing exceptional. The church was closed as well as the casa fuerte. We loved the view of the square next to the church (also appreciated by yoga lovers) and overlooking the valley."
