"Ein Sonntag vor zwei Wochen gegen 19.45. Die Gästeanzahl war überschaubar. Das Personal zu viert. Schon beim Betreten wurden wir komplett ignoriert. Kein "Guten Abend" nichts.Als wir nach 15 Minuten Wartezeit nicht bedient wurden, sind wir aufgestanden und wieder gegangen. Ein kurzes "Hallo, komme gleich zu Ihnen", hätte ja auch schon mal gereicht, aber komplett ignoriert zu werden nervt. Wir werden die Lokalität nicht wieder betreten."

"The café is small and you have to order at the bar. They had two different burgers. A normal with BBQ sauce, another with Teriyaki sauce. I chose the with Teriyaki sauce and really appreciated that they smoked pepper, tomatoes, salad, etc on the burger! Many vegetables basically. They serve burgers with sweet potatoes, but unfortunately the frits were not really FRIED, but COOKED (always still delicious! . I really appreciate their selection of drinks all locally (no mainstream brands like Coca cola . The view from the terrace is amazing! The waitress was also very friendly. Even after closing the bar, we were allowed to stay on the terrace and received the castle to secure the chair table we used."

"Etwas versteckt im 1.Stock des KKL-Luzern befindet sich ein mit (bloss) 15 GaultMillau Punkten ausgezeichnetes Gourmet Restaurant. Und "ausgezeichnet" trifft hier in jeder Hinsicht zu. Ambiente, Ausblick, Personal, Weine und die Speisen. Die Art von Küche und Service der hier zelebriert wird ist schlicht und einfach wünschenswert. Wunderbar abgestimmte und abgeschmeckte Speisen welche man so, selten, auf einer Karte findet. Nicht einfach nur Foie Gras zu einem Rinderfilet...Nein im Gegenteil, hier werden Nischen Produkte gesucht und wahnsinnig gut in Szene gesetzt. Wir nahmen die Wachtel...Wunderbar...Das Ganze Tier wurde verarbeitet. Mit der gebratenen gefüllten Brust, einem Confit, einem Crosstini aus Innereien und einem wunderbar süffigen geräuchertem Fond. Genauso beim Gemüse. Meine Frau wählte im Hauptgang die Pfälzer Karotte, auch hier wurde an alles gedacht...Selbst aus dem Karottengrün wurde eine Pesto gezaubert.Weiter so beim Dessert dem Champignon, soviel Finesse und Liebe zu Detail sieht man selten. Der Service hervorragend, wie auch die Weine, wir wählten eine Begleitung welche die Aromen perfekt zusammenführte.Toll war auch das der Küchenchef selbst zu uns an den Tisch kam. Das zeigt mir das hier noch die Meinung vom Gast zählt.Wir können das RED nur weiter empfehlen, und werden selber auch wieder kommen."

"This place is crowded, loud and noisy! They offer pub food, different types of beer and Swiss cuisine! The braised beef was ok and the popover with veggies that came with rice was average as the crust was hard and not fresh! The service was not attentive and the salads came out rather quickly but then waited over 30 mins for the meal afterwards and the wrong item came out so we both ate alone as the other waited for their food! So many choices along Lake Lucern and water so choose wisely!"

"I got the pretzel with sunflower seeds right when I got off the train. I loved it so much that I got one every day in Switzerland! They are hearty and filling and the perfect snack to take with you on a long train ride or on a hike. If you can get one straight out of the oven, even better!"
