"I have eaten at plenty of inferior “crab boil” places at double the price in Manhattan. Steam is a superior technique for heating food compared to boiling in heavy spiced broth. You have better control over the heat, cooking, it’s a lot more sanitary.I don’t know why other reviews are not five stars but at these low prices you need to have frozen seafood and order it in bulk to make sure you get it fresh. Service is solid. The food is both good and consistent.This place does it right. I have come here many times and will bring friends and family when they come to visit."

"I don't usually write so many bad reviews, but I just had to do this place. We're local and told our waitress this is the first time here. She went with us over the menu and then took our order shortly. Then she brought our food and that was the last time I talked to her until we left. She went past our booth about 10 times, said no word, how is the food? Do you need anything? Kiss me? Absolutely nothing. Remember This was our first time. The food didn't taste bad, but they need some pointers from someone whose parents have several coffee houses with food. Presentation is everything they throw everything into a plastic bag, just kind of strange because you fish for your food out of the bag, which is extremely chaotic. What they should do is, these really cool barnacle-like baskets and put everything in the middle in the basket, so it is easily accessible. That was probably the worst waitress I've ever had, and I had some bad, and the reason why is because you can say why from this review. This place is just not worth the hype I don't understand, all these good reviews it almost makes me think they are friends and family check. The money is not worth it. Like other people have said if you want real seafood really good service, especially if there is your first time here looking elsewhere there are many other much better options."

"I received the free Thanksgiving dinner here and it had a home cooked taste. There was not a trace of institutional taste in any of the food. The greens were seasoned with chicken parts rather than pork. The greens did not have any bitter taste and they were soft and not firm. The stuffing was a moist corn-bread stuffing. There was a chicken which I gave to someone else to eat. The turkey was not bland and it also did not have a strong bird taste to it. The gravy was not bland and not too salty it was properly seasoned and very smooth. The staff was friendly, caring, and engaging. While the mac-n-cheese tasted ok I would have preferred to have it more cheesy."

"We love this place so much, we come all the way from White Plains (1 hour away! . The buffet has two areas: general Asian, with a heavy focus on seafood, and a Japanese sushi bar. Huge selection. Sushi are heavenly. I know my sushi... Also, there's a great choice of dessert cakes and ice cream. I highly recommend Kido."
