"Really nice little chippy! after a great day to foot there is nothing better than eating something from the parktor chippy, amazing outsight on the sunset! the brilliant staff and the building is just as funny and unique, variety in the menu and fair prices! they have inside seats as well as child options and smaller portions, as well as take them options!"

"I have been wining and dining Mrs E for years at The Boathouse and today was probably one of the best. For a change, we had the Sunday Roast sharing platter. The quality and quantity of food was fantastic, with Mrs E even eating the beef and Yorkshire pudding which she normally swerves. Thanks to Steph our waitress, Brian, Harry, Liam and Manu in the kitchen for a delicious and great value meal."

"We came here after our fish and chips which were amazing. I always make sure to leave room. They have a great selection of flavours and the staff are really friendly. The ice cream is really good and you get decent portions. My favourite is the Cherry and Turkish delight they go very well together and are tricky to find elsewhere. I love that they now do doggie ice cream, our boy really enjoyed it!"

"Passed this pub so many times since the '60s !!! decided to call in today for the first time in over 50 years to find they were waiting for their real ale delivery ...so disappointing. 4 stars for beautifully maintained village and traditional style pub.
