"This restaurant has several theme evenings a year and I recently attended the white truffle evening. The 7 course set menu was absolutely exquisite and included wine paring for CHF169 per person. The only catch is that you still had to buy your truffle for the evening at CHF5.50 per gram. Ouch. Very splashy dinner, but it was finger-licking good. And, as always, the service was phenomenal!"

"Das Restaurant liegt direkt am Ufer des Sees von Beckenried Richtung Treib. Am besten mit dem Schiff oder allenfalls via eine Strasse von Seelisberg erreichbar. Viele private Boote ankern hier für eine frische Fischmalzeit. Die Lage ist Traumhaft. Das Essen - ein Teller Hecht, Egli und Felchen - war solid und frisch zubereitet. Preise sind nicht billig aber bezahlbar. Die Bedienung war gut, könnte aber bei den Details noch etwas zulegen, was aber bei der Lage in Kauf genommen wurde. Sicher auch eine gute Alternative für Gäste aus dem Ausland."

"We were with a huge wedding party so I'm not sure if the menu was fixed especially for us. We had choice of meat, vege or fish dishes. Was a complete meal and always felt satisfied. Fish was often hit or miss on certain evenings. We stayed for five days. All in all, nice place to eat after a full day of touring."

"During our stay in spring we enjoyed breakfast, lunch and one dinner on the terrasse. the food was always nice and service too. depending on the person who seats the guests we got a very nice table with the kids or we do not...know why we got a less pleasant table even with having asked for it with the reservation. the one gentleman did this twice and for the next arriving guests he even arranged a table on the lakeshore although they did not have a reservation... p.s. when we returned in summer he was very friendly and helpful..."
