"Made a 7.30 pm reservation on a cold wet Saturday night. Was surprised how few people were there. On arrival we were given a choice of a regular table for 2 or to sit on a cosy sofa near the open fire. We chose a regular table rather than to be so low to the ground.There service was swift. We were offered water and the specials explained. I chose the scallops entree and the wife decided to skip entree in favour of mains. The scallops were perfectly cooked and the accompaniment with celery and walnuts was great. I had fillet for mains. It was slightly more than the medium rare requested but very good served with vegetables. The wife's barramundi was well presented and again well cooked. We both chose wine by the glass which was good.For dessert we had the special apple tart with cream which was unusual but very good.I have marked down to four stars due to pricing. We had an entertainment card which reduced the price to what I consider the correct price for the restaurant. Of course the majority of guests do not have this facility. The price of the baguette is too expensive."

"Ordered fried rice and wonton soup. Waited 30mins with just 1 person in from of me. Apparently there is only 1 pax took order and cook the dishes. Rice is too oily salty while they used yellow normal noodles with wonton. Disappointed with the...food adding to the fact that we travel from Augusta to Margaret river for our lunch."
