"Went to eat at Hagerstown golden coral, whe got there at 9:00pm 6/2/2018. Went up to the grill ask for a steak, he had started to clean the grill he offered me dry up cooked one laying to the side. I like mine med with pink inside, so I decided to wait. I went to check if it was done, still cleaning the grill he said where you sitting I will let you know, I was like okay. Needless to say by that time it was was 930-945, by then we were getting ready to walk our, then it’s was done. Now mind you when I went to him about steak he was cleaning the grill, he did stop to get ours start he continued to clean for half more. I understand they went to get out there since it was 9pm, but you serve till 10pm. There were 2 other couple that had same problem and walked out. I ask to speak to manager, when He came out I explain what was going on, he said sorry I can comp 1 meal mind you there were 3 of us. I was upset but I said fine, he then ask for receipt, I started to look for it could find it. He watch me search all over still could find. He’s remark was I can’t comp you if you don’t have your receipt, I said sr I can find it. He ask for receipt again I said I am sorry I can’t find it he said again I need receipt to comp it, I said do you understand I don’t have the receipt by this time I am getting really upset I don’t know how many times this man keep asking for the receipt. Now remind you we pay first when you come in so you know we paid. Then he brought 1 steak to us so we could it take home, my daughter had a 2 hour drive with steak in a box. Now we are leaving I am over it, I was getting so upset I started to get rude, sorry. My birthday is Monday my daughter lives in Leesburg 2 hours away. She came to seeing me and wanted to take me shopping and to dinner. She was so upset that our celebration ended in total chaos, she felt so bad, especially when we don’t get to see her much or spend much time with her. This place made her feel like she wasn’t able to give me a nice dinner before going home, she a long drive home so it was even more depressing for her. Now back to the manager ken Shipley, after all said done he has the nerve to ask me again do I wanted 1 meal comp. I said again I DON’T have the receipt, he say I can go back in the ledger and find receipt then be able to do it. WHAT!! After asking me for receipt 6 thousand time or he can’t comp, now all if a sudden he can do it. By this time I am furious, i said forget it and left. I return to get corporate office number and this man says to me again the number is at the bottom of your receipt “I DONT HAVE RECEIPT!!!! I made him go get the number and we left. Met a couple in parking lot and they went there for steak of course we are cleaning the grill, the man doing the cooking told her also he let her know when it’s done, he didn’t want us to wait at counter, but when this poor lady steak was done he yells behind the grill something like if you want to get off your phone your steaks ready, then they give theirs steaks to go also, this couple had to little boys with them What kind of business is this, we paid 50.00 some dollars to eat and barely had anything to eat because we came for the steak. If all 3 of us wanted steak why was he only going to comp one so when we left they only gave 1 steak what about my son and daughters steak. This was the worst customers service I have ever experienced and I am 54 years old. We left disappointed and hungry 50 dollars later."

"Authentic Mexican food at its very best. Don't be fooled by the small location, this place does have the best Mexican food in the area. I love the chicken enchiladas, my wife likes the cheese enchiladas and I love the rice and beans. Our next time in which will be soon, i'm going to try the tacos and a burrito. Yes, the food is that good and the staff is very friendly. We have needed a great south of the border restaurant here and this place does not disappoint!"
