"We've been visiting Elvas on Saturday and walking around the region. I've seen the Nham Nham already well rated in TripAdvisor and decided to go there. The experience was good. My sister in-law and her husband aet the Crepes and my wife and I went...for the Toasts. Very good ald well prepared. Service is a bit slow but acceptable as we were not on a rush."

"We were struggling a bit to find somewhere for a quick lunch, finding mainly proper sit down restaurants with full-on meals. We finally found this place which offered the kind of menu we were after. Our table was right under a TV which for some reason was loudly playing some cartoons (in english), making the lunch not particularly pleasant. Sandwiches were served in the most bizarre way we've ever seen, where the crust of the baguette had been smeared in butter before going back in the oven shortly. You end up with a greasy thing filled with tasteless ham and cheese. Beer was good (they don't do wine by the glass, only small bottles). Unless you're desperate for fuel, I'd try and find something else. Especially if the TV is on."

"Gostei muito deste restaurante. Fomos em grupo e com uma ementa negociada. Fomos bem servidos e bem atendidos. Boa bebida :) e uma excelente sopa de cação. Migas saborosas mas algo gordurosas (tal como o entrecosto). Acabámos a noite no bar / discoteca do restaurante com um bom ambiente e música agradável e umas excelentes caipirinha (s)...."

"The first time I went to this nasty tourist trap I thought it was one of the worst, most overpriced joints in Portugal, so I was disappointed when a friend asked me to meet him there a few days later. It was not to be....He showed up first at this pestilent hole and plugged his tablet into the socket under the table to recharge, whereupon he was attacked by the ranting, screaming owner who improperly addressed him in familiar speech and accused him of being drunk. When I showed up minutes later and asked about my friend this lunatic began abusing me. An utter pit with no redeeming culinary value. Avoid it as you would cholera, which is probably also on the menu"
