"A classical place with the owner who knows everything better than his customers do, and she tells them off, too!! If this place wouldn’t have the sensational view it has, it would be empty all the time. All the locals know about the extremely rude lady running it. I’m told her parents weren’t much friendlier either. We stopped by (for the 1st time in many years) and were wondering why in the middle of high season on a Saturday, the car park was less than half full?!? Warning bells should have been ringing, but we were taken by the breath-taking panorama. We took different dishes with local fresh chanterelle mushrooms. Both dishes were inedible because of all the grit (more like buckets of sand) in the mushrooms. Knowing the temperament of the owner and just wanting to leave we didn’t say anything and asked for the bill. Unfortunately (for us) she asked how everything was and I had the audacity of saying the mushrooms were full of grit. “And so the beast unleashed”. “Where do we think mushrooms come from!!!; The forest is full of sand and she cannot wash the mushrooms too much to get it off!!; All the flavour would wash off!!!” I didn’t say much to this, there was no point in trying to reason with a restauranteur who doesn’t even know how you clean mushrooms. Are we kidding?!?! Do you really think your customers are imbeciles? Every cook knows you don’t wash mushrooms and every cook knows how to take off the grit/sand. Occasionally it can happen that you find a single corn of grit in a dish, happens to me too on a rare occasion, but a sandpit??? I suggest you get a reality check my dear."

"I didn't stay in the hotel, but I had lunch at the restaurant. Unfortunately I happened on an intense day and the restaurant only had two waiters. Not too kind to tell you unfortunately. For the rest well, good food but the wait of almost an hour I consider it excessive."

"Definitely surprised when I found this mountain hut that offers such a wide range of vegan products! I tried the pasta dish with mountain herbs, it was really good, but it somehow tasted like grass, maybe next time I try something with a slightly gentle taste.
