"Pizza came cold in the middle, warm around the edge. obviously a prefabricated basic bought and toppings added in the restaurant. lasagne was okay, but nothing great. service and wine. would not recommend."

"Been there for dinner. The food was good but not covered by the prices they charge for it. But as stated above, you defi itelt pay for the view. The Aperol was the best I had in town compared to several other restaurants and came every evening back here for one."

"Found this place after a search on trip advisor. The food is amazing, a place not to be missed if you are staying in Cannero Riviera or near by. We had the octopus and squid followed by the lamb and my husband had the mixed seafood. It was fabulous. Service was great. We will definitely be back before the end of our stay!"

"You can’t miss this place if you want spend a nice day on Maggiore Lake, especially if you have some kids. The restaurant is located directly in front of the lake with a nice outdoor veranda for eat and take the sun, a few steps from the shore of the lake. A large choices of pizza and different Italian food, I took the “vitello tonnato” and the “fritto misto” and they was amazing. Good service and right value for the money. The owners Mauro and Ari are very friendly and available to make you spend a wonderful day!"

"We have been in Cannobio for a week and ate here 3 times. The staff is so kind and friendly and the food is delicious!! The pizzas are a dream! I loved the atmosphere and that there's also a vegan option. We got a table even when the restaurant was almost booked up. There's a play corner for children which is great when you want to enjoy your food peacefully as a parent. ; Il Torchio is a very nice, family friendly, authentic and cozy restaurant. You should try the Giro Pizza no limits on a wednesday when you're here. Totally recommendable!! Next time we come to Cannobio we will definitely eat here again! "We went with our small kids. Children's highchairs were present in the restaurant, but they were not offered or even brought to our table. The food came quite fast. The tagliatelle with frutta di mare were unfortunately completely oversalted, the fried frutta di mare were OK but not more. The pizza Americana was OK as well. We wanted to take the left over of the pizza with us. The requested doggy bag was handled by providing us with a limited amount of aluminium foil. During the whole time, actual pop music was playing loud in the background."
