"We found Saku Sushi & Bar by accident as we were driving through Nuevo las year. We came with a group of 8 of us with some trepidation because no one was in the restaurant last January when we went, but we quickly learned that the staff was incredibly solicitous, the food was excellent and the chef was very creative with his use of the very fresh fish he served as well as his presentation of the sushi. We loved the food and the people running the restaurant were top notch in every area. We liked it so much we returned the following week with other friends and found ourselves back there two weeks later alone. Each time, we found new creations that were equally good if not better than our last visit. The portions are enormous and we always went home with a "care package." This restaurant is another culinary treasure in Puerto Vallarta - one of the reasons we have been going to PV for 20 years!"

"Yummmm! Great service from the staff especially Oscar Daniel. The sushi is really good and the variety of sauces to try were great. We were full and still forced ourselves to try the desserts. Thank goodness it was an hour walk back to our rental lol."
