"First time here and husband and I loved it. Understated, simple ambiance, nothing fancy, just really comfortable for some great food. The soup was amazing and the noodle plates we got were super flavorful. We’ll probably go up on the spice scale next time."

"Our waitress was so sweet and so attentive. I know this is only a part of the experience, but it truly made it so much more enjoyable, I think her name is Yasuko. Every moment she was on her game! Super impressive, as I've come from customer service and definitely know what it takes. We ordered the soba tempura, the salmon belly egg, chirashi, phoenix roll, and red moon rolls."

"The food was fine. The seaweed was abundantly spicy. It unfortunately overpowered the rest of the food. I was surprised at the amount of shrimp tempura that went into the burrito (2 pieces). I don’t even know how to describe the customer service. It seemed rather painful for both employees. Coming from a background in the food industry, I was shocked at how it was okay to have loose hair, baggy clothes, and just seem rather unkept. I would compare the level of personality we saw with a wet spoon. The atmosphere was fairly sad. Several dirty tables, the floor seemed pretty sticky, 1 of the menu panels were out, and the ice machine was out of ice. The refrigerator with additional teas/drinks in it clearly was not working because the tea was piss warm. It looked like there was mold on the bottom panel. $79.00 for a family of 4. It was completely not worth it. I was so excited to try this place and it was pretty much a let down. Service: Dine in Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"The food is great this is what brings us back but often we have to go through so many tables before we sit down. They are not bussed or cleaned off and the tables cleared off are not wiped down. There is still crumbs or spilled sauce on it.Last night our server was nice but at 9:02 told us they were closing. I thought he was only asking for me to pay now so I did but he kept coming back reminding us they needed to close and brought us to go bowls. We came in at 8:25 after my kid's activity. She was so hungry. After the 3rd time of him coming in less than 5 minutes I was frustrated. We put our soup in Togo so we could leave. If you look at the ticket you can see how early it was. I'm not sure why he categorized us as a phone order. If the food was not so good I would give up. After last night's experience I'm not sure when we'll be back again. We were regulars."
